USA's new QUAD includes Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan!

In recent times, the USA has formed multiple QUAD groups with different countries across and the most important among all of them is the QUAD Security Dialogue which includes India, Japan, Australia, and Russia. But this time it's not the one in news.

Post-USA's Afghanistan policy shift, there has been a global threat that what if the nation in central Asia again turns out to be a breeding ground for terror outfits like Al-Qaeda and all. As the USA has deployed its soldiers for many years, which supported the Afghan Govt in its proper democratic practices. But the Taliban's rampant presence and control after the pullout pose a terrorism threat to entire European and Western nations. In response to this, the USA has formed a new QUAD group, including Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and the USA. This new QUAD focuses entirely on the Afghan region.

USA's expectations seem to be unrealistically optimistic with this newly diplomatic platform when it expects to achieve peace, intends to expand trade, build transit links, and much more. The grounds on which, it is all considered overly optimistic are the recent relations and verbal spat between two nations i.e. Pakistan and Afghanistan. Recently Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of sending Jihadi fighters to Afghanistan. Afghanistan Vice President even went on to say that the Pakistani Air Force might bomb Afghanistan if the Taliban is defeated. It is still a point to contemplate how did the USA manage to keep these two nations together.

This newly built group not only possesses internal obstacles but also carries some external hindrances. Russia considers this sudden pullout as the USA's mistake and has strongly warned the United States against deploying its troops in the former Soviet Central Asian nations following their withdrawal from Afghanistan. Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow conveyed the message to Washington during Russian President Vladimir Putin's summit with the U.S. president Joe Biden in Geneva. Furthermore, the nation, states that the US troops in Central Asia near Afghanistan will prove to be against the interests of Russia. Russia's stance against these groups is no surprise as the nation has been Pro Taliban for a very long time.

Considering the relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the possibility of achieving a substantial outcome seems to be every minute. However, the group has been formed now and let it be put to test of time.
